Supernatural Final Episode

I know it’s been out for awhile now, but I really couldn’t figure out what I wanted to write or how I was really reacting to it at the time, or even a few days after it.

I’ve been a fan since season 1, and yes, even during the leviathan crap. I had (Spoiler alert) a feeling that it would all end with Jack saving the day, and the brothers ‘ending’ their life on earth.. in one way or another. Truthfully, after thinking on it for some time, I feel… satisfied, but still…. not satisfied?

Things I liked:

• Ending up happy
• Seeing how Dean and Cas really felt about each other
• Hmm, that’s actually it….

Things I didn’t like:

• The way Dean died was crap
• Not seeing Sam with Eileen, but some phased out blurry ‘generic woman’
• Not “really” seeing any of the other characters besides a glimpse of Bobby

I se a lot of comments with people complaining about the show ending on ‘just showing’ Sam and Dean at the end, in their goodbye to the fans (posted below). People can’t seem to understand why. Well, go listen to the show’s producer, he explains it. It’s a throwback, it’s SUPPOSED to be like back in the original season, the ‘old school’ episodes, just the two of them. Like that or not, it wasn’t a dis at the other actors. But, I think Cas not being part of it in the end, was wrong. Very wrong.

Still.. a part of me wanted to see everyone. But, I suppose, then I would be writing about how cliche’ that would have been….

What do you all think? This show will always be one of my favorites though, even if it couldn’t do a perfect finale. To be honest, I don’t think anything would have been able to be perfect finale, except maybe… not having one.
